About Me

Hi,
I'm Paul and I have had a life-long love of astronomy and science. I grew up watching the early Space Programs of Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo put humans into orbit and finally, in 1969, land a man on the moon. In the early 1970s I bought a small, 4.25", Newtonian Reflector from a friend. It had been originaly sold by Lafayette Radio Shack (not to be confused with Tandy Radio Shack). The very first object I saw through it was Saturn. About this same time I joined the Saint Petersburg Astronomy Club and made quite a few new friends. I always dreamed of owning a larger and much higher quality telescope than that old reflector. But, it's was only since 2020 that I have had the financial resources to pursue this hobby of astrophotography, as it can be very expensive.

I also have other "hobbies" as the wife and I rescue dogs and also show dogs in Florida area AKC dog shows.
